people working towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s
Award.
Matthew Davey, Lincolnshire County Council’s Environmental
and Community Project Officer said: ‘The Conservation
Volunteer Programme provides an excellent opportunity for
people of all ages to learn some practical conservation
skills.’
Zoë Watson, Secretary of the Friends of Mareham Pastures
added: ‘Today has been very successful and hopefully our
next conservation activity day will be as well attended;
when we will be planting a new woodland in January.’
