Tree Planting at Mareham Pastures Local Nature Reserve
Several new areas of woodland have been planted by the local community using native species such as Ash, Oak and Field Maple. Woodlands are lovely to walk through particularly in autumn when the leaves turn golden brown. Newly planted woodlands are excellent for wildlife providing nesting and feeding areas for birds such as Wren, Yellow Hammer and Song Thrush.
