Location
Mareham Pastures Local Nature Reserve is only 10 minutes walk from Sleaford town centre.
Mareham Pastures is best accessed either by foot or by pushbike as there is very limited parking available by the entrances to the site. The parking that is available is primarily for the use of the local residents, so if driving to Local Nature Reserve please be considerate of the local residents.
New car parking facilities are planned - watch this space!

Directions from Ticket Office/Entrance to Sleaford Railway Station.

Turn Right and walk to end of Station Road

Turn Right and go over the level crossing

Turn Right onto Grantham Road and Cross to other side

Take the first road on the Left, London Road

Proceed for approx 100m. Bullock Pasture Lane is on the Left, sign posted to the Sleaford Cricket Club

Turn down Bullock Pasture Lane for approx 750m which will bring you to Bullock Pasture entrance.

Approaching Sleaford via B1517 (Grantham Road)

Turn right along London Road, just past the Spar on opposite side of Grantham Road. London Road (the yellow road on OS map above) opposite the railway station.

Take 2nd turning on left, Southfields (1st left turn is a track - Bullock Pastures Lane to Sleaford Cricket Club & pedestrian access to Mareham Pastures)

Take 1st turn on left, Hawthorn Drive and take 3rd turn on left, Lavender Close – immediately to your left will be some parking spaces and the Lavender Close entrance to Mareham Pastures.
Approaching from Sleaford Railway Station.

Drive towards the end of Station Road towards the level crossing

Turn Right and go over the level crossing staying in the right-hand lane.

Turn Right onto Grantham Road and stay in the left-hand filter lane.

Take the first road on the Left on to London Road.

Take 2nd turning on left, Southfields (1st left turn is a track - Bullock Pastures Lane to Sleaford Cricket Club & pedestrian access to Mareham Pastures).

Take 1st turn on left, Hawthorn Drive and take 3rd turn on left, Lavender Close – immediately to your left will be some parking spaces and the Lavender Close entrance to Mareham Pastures.
Approaching from Mareham Lane

Drive towards Sleaford and at traffic lights stay in the left-hand lane (straight on)

Stay in the left-hand filter lane and take the first road on the Left on to London Road.

Take 2nd turning on left, Southfields (1st left turn is a track - Bullock Pastures Lane to Sleaford Cricket Club & pedestrian access to Mareham Pastures).

Take 1st turn on left, Hawthorn Drive and take 3rd turn on left, Lavender Close – immediately to your left will be some parking spaces and the Lavender Close entrance to Mareham Pastures.
Approaching from the South via London Road

Drive towards Sleaford on London Road.

Take the turning on right into Southfields (just before Cricket Club where the road bares to the left).

Take 1st turn on left, Hawthorn Drive and take 3rd turn on left, Lavender Close – immediately to your left will be some parking spaces and the Lavender Close entrance to Mareham Pastures.
