Children's Easter Event at Mareham Pastures

Mareham Pastures Local Nature Reserve

  • Located on the edge of Sleaford, Lincolnshire.  As a local nature reserve, Mareham

    Pastures is for both people and wildlife.

  • In 2004 Mareham Pastures was designated as a local nature reserve, being an area with wildlife features of special interest & also giving local people the opportunity to enjoy & have contact with nature.
  • Covering an area of 11.5 hectares (about the size of 15 football pitches) with areas of newly planted woodland, open grassland & a wildflower meadow.

Activities & Events...

Mareham Pastures Local Nature Reserve is cared for by a group of local volunteers, The Friends of Mareham Pastures under the guidance of Lincolnshire County Council who continue to own the site.

The Friends organise regular activities and events at Mareham Pastures.  Including special events for children & the Conservation Volunteer Programme.
